Position Summary

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children – Orlando, Florida

 

Orlando Health Children’s Heart Institute at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Cardiologist with advanced training in Cardiac MRI and CT to join our expanding pediatric heart program.

 

Position Highlights

  • Advanced imaging-focused pediatric cardiology position
  • Dedicated time for Cardiac MRI and CT interpretation
  • Integrated with a comprehensive pediatric/congenital/ACHD heart program
  • TEE and/or Fetal experience welcomed but not required
  • Opportunity available for both experienced physicians and graduating fellows.

Inpatient/Ambulatory Responsibilities

  • Participation in Echo Lab reading schedule
  • Limited inpatient service coverage
  • Main Ambulatory and Satellite clinic options

Call Schedule

  • Pediatric Cardiologists share on-call responsibilities equally
  • Night call is primarily telephone consultation and occasional remote echocardiogram interpretation with inpatient rounding on weekend.

Qualifications

  • Education: M.D., D.O.
  • Leadership aspirations and interest in program development encouraged
  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship
    • Additional advanced training in Cardiac MRI and CT
    • TEE proficiency preferred
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics
  • Unrestricted FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA
