Practice Highlights:

• Shift based: 14-hour shifts
• 10 shifts a month - 5 days and 5 nights
• Comprehensive OBGYN inpatient care
• Never work alone – 2 physicians and 2 midwives per shift
• High volume – group average of 10 deliveries per shift
• Coverage of group's attached patients

Qualifications:

• MD/DO with Board Certification or Eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) equivalent
• Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited residency
• Unrestricted Florida medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA
• 3 years of inpatient/hospitalist experience or fellowship preferred

Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies, part of the Orlando Health Women’s Institute, has provided care dedicated to the unique needs of women and newborns since opening on the downtown Orlando campus in 2006. A highly skilled team provides specialized care that covers all facets of women’s health from comprehensive gynecological services and complex minimally invasive surgeries to general obstetrics and high-risk pregnancies, births and newborn care.
